How it all started

Working with animals is a strong interest for me. I had a history of wildlife volunteering since high school, but I didn't come into the auto mechanic world until my mid 20's when a close friend of mine decided to teach me how to work on my own car. I had a 2004 Honda Civic with an over heating problem and oil leak. Learning to get comfortable with being under the hood, I spent some solo time with my car and discovered I had a clogged hose to my coolant reservoir, and that a valve cover gasket is an easy fix. My curiosity was piqued, but I wasn't confident to do much more than that. Fast forward a few years later, coupled with a few mods, project trucks, and car meets, I discovered a passion I could not shake.
